The Transport General Authority recognizes Uber for achieving 100 percent Driver Saudization


(MENAFN- Weber Shandwick) Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 31 January 2021: Uber has received recognition from H.E Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Saudi Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Transport General Authority (TGA), for achieving 100 percent Driver Saudization on its ride-sharing application in the Kingdom. Uber received this recognition in a ceremony at the Ministry’s headquarters in the presence of H.E Dr. Rumaih bin Muhammad Al-Rumaih, President of the TGA, and Engineer Fawaz bin Zanaf Al-Sahli, Vice President of Land Transport at the TGA.
Mohammad Bakr Gazzaz, General Manager of Uber in Saudi Arabia, was on hand to receive the award to this national milestone, alongside a number of some of the most highly rated drivers on Uber.
