Jordan PM meets with top Iraqi leaders over bilateral collaboration


(MENAFN) Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh reached on Thursday at Iraq's capital Baghdad and began a round of talks with high-ranking Iraqi officials to enhance joint relations and collaboration in several fields.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi held a meeting with Al-Khasawneh over collaboration between the two sides to improve mutual relations, al-Kadhimi media office said in a statement.


Both sides highlighted in a joint statement delivered after a sequence of meetings the significance of ongoing enhancement of coordination and making complete use of the competences available in both nations in all economic, investment, and trade fields.

They also emphasized continued labor to resolve the local crises to achieve security and stability, reiterated disapproval of all forms of terrorism, and vowed to continue fighting it.
