Arab League welcomes consensus of Libya discussions


(MENAFN)The Arab League hailed the consensus came on at by both delegations representing the Libyan House of Representatives and Libya’s High Council of State in an assembly hosted by Morocco in Bouznika.

The assembly planned at joining Libyan institutions and top state posts in agreement with the framework adjusted by the Libyan Political Agreement signed in Skhirat.

The Arab League showed confidence that the “significant progress” made in the discussions will share to solve the Libyan crisis and pushing forward settlement paths sponsored by the UN, particularly in terms of forming a new executive authority, joining Libyan institutions, implementing ceasefire deals and commencing plans for presidential and legislative elections.
