Economic commerce cooperation deal inked between Israel, Morocco

(MENAFN) The Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry said Sunday in a statement that an economic-trade cooperation deal has been signed between Israel and Morroco.

This move comes after the normalization agreement inked between the two nations on Dec. 22, 2020, and negotiations hold by Moroccan Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy Moulay Hafid Elalamy and the Israeli Economy Minister Amir Peretz.

The deal, which is estimated to have been inked within 14 days, creats an agenda for collaboration in the arenas of economics, trade and innovation, with both countries looking forward to enhance mutual trade and remove trade barriers.

The agreement includes cooperation in the areas of standardization, regulation, R&D, innovation, agro-technology and more.
