(MENAFN)The country's statistical authority stated that assurance in Turkey's service sectors improved while construction and retail trade put on a monthly basis in January.
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), the services confidence index amounted at 101.9 the current month, increasing 2.9 percent from December last year thanks to an improvement in "demand-turnover" and its expectation, as well as business sentiment.
Calculated from the monthly survey, results are estimated within the range of 0-200; sectoral confidence indices spot an optimistic outlook when the rate is above 100 and a pessimistic outlook when it is below 100.
