(MENAFN)According to the country's Central Bank, Turkey’s manufacturing industry utilized 75.4 percent of its production capability in January, recording a slight fall month-on-month.
The capacity utilization rate (CUR) of the manufacturing industry dropped by 0.2 percentage points from 75.6 percent previous month.
The bank further stated that the CUR statistics are based on the responses given to its business tendency survey by local units operating in the manufacturing industry.
The monthly statistics does not reflect the bank’s views or expectations, while some 1,700 companies responded to the survey in January, it added.
