(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Baghdad, Jan. 25 (Petra) -- France is keen on supporting the Republic of Iraq, as it represents a state of regional "balance," French Ambassador in Baghdad, Bruno Aubert, said Monday.
In a meeting with Iraq's National Security Advisor, Qassem al-Araji, Aubert said that terrorism still poses a threat to the region and the world at large, highlighting that France intends to support Iraq to repel this danger.
In turn, al-Araji praised France for its support in the fight against the terrorist groups, emphasizing Baghdad's keenness to strengthen ties with Paris.
