Iraq: seven deaths, 813 COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- Iraq announced Monday seven deaths from coronavirus, in addition to 813 new positive cases in the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement that the total infection cases throughout Iraq, including Kurdistan governorate, rose to 614,576.
The largest number of cases was in Baghdad with 285 cases, then Kirkuk governorate with 81 cases and Najaf with 59 cases.
Meanwhile, 1,585 patients from 17 governorates have been recovered, bringing the toll to 583,127. (end)
