BAGHDAD, Jan 24 (KUNA) -- Iraq announced Sunday five deaths from Coronavirus (COVID-19) and 893 new positive cases in the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement that the total number of infections throughout Iraq, including Kurdistan governorates, rose to 613,763 cases, while the total death cases rose to 12,993.
Meanwhile, 1,704 patients from 17 governorates have been recovered, bringing the total toll to 581,542 cases. (end)
