Chinese Guangxi overseas trade rises 3.5 pct last year


(MENAFN) Customs data demonstrated that the overseas trade of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region stood at 486.13 billion yuan (around USD75.16 billion) last year, a rise by 3.5 percent annually.

Imports in the region rose 2.6 percent to around USD33,21 in 2020, whereas exports climbed by 4.3 percent to around USD41,78.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) stayed Guangxi's biggest trading partner in 2020, with joint trade rising by 1.7 percent to about USD36,65 billion. Trade with the Belt and Road states expanded by 1.4 percent to around USD39,85 billion.
