Syrian FM denounces hostile practices of U.S. forces in NE Syria

(MENAFN) The state-run news agency SANA quoted the Syrian Foreign Ministry as demanding on Wednesday the "immediate and unconditional withdrawal" of U.S. armed forces from Syria.

The ministry denounced in a statement the so called "hostile practices" of the U.S. troops in northeastern Syria.

It blamed the U.S. armed forces of "systematic theft" of oil and agricultural wealth in northern Syrian as well as bringing in military support to that part of the nation.

The leaving administration of former President Donald Trump has damaged the region and reinforced extremist movements in order to split Syria and avoid attaining a political resolution through supporting the "terrorist groups," the ministry stated.
