(MENAFN)The Bulgarian officials closed down a massive illegal cannabis cultivation greenhouse on Tuesday night, the Ministry of the Interior said in a statement on Wednesday.
The facility inside the ex industrial building in the town of Boychinovtsi in the northwest of Bulgaria was furnished with sophisticated tech like heating systems, fans, heat lamps and timer relays, according to the statement.

During the operation, the officials confiscated 600 cannabis pots and more than 13 kg of dry cannabis, according to the release.
It was also discovered that the greenhouse had been illegally linked to the power grid.
