Syria: Fuel tanker blasts in Homs leads to huge fire


(MENAFN) According to a report by state news agency SANA, on Tuesday, Jan. 19, a fuel tanker blasted in Syria's central province of Homs, leading to a huge fire.

SANA stated that the fuel tanker blasted close to the Syrian Gas Company, further saying the firefighters are handling the fire.

The reason behind of the blast is unidentified yet.

The blast comes as the Syrian energy industry is fighting under the pressure of the cold winter and economic restrictions.
