China: Jiangxi witnesses record foreign commerce


(MENAFN)East China's Jiangxi Province witnesses its foreign trade increased by 14.3 percent year on year to a record-high number of over 401 billion Yuan (about USD61.8 billion) in 2020 in spite of coronavirus, according to a local press discussion on Monday, January 18th.

Jiangxi's export volume hit 292 billion yuan in 2020, increased by 17 percent year on year, while imports reached almost 109 billion Yuan, up by 7.5 percent, stated Huang Qifeng with the customs of Nanchang, the provincial capital, at the meeting.

The province's trade volumes with its top ten foreign trading associates expanded by 16.7 percent year on year, counting countries and areas of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the United States, and the European Union.
