Jordan to offer support for Indonesia over earthquake victims


(MENAFN)Jordan expressed its condolences on Friday, over the victims of the earthquake that shocked Indonesia, which left a number of deaths, injuries.

Jordan prepared itself to offer any kind of help for Indonesia, wishing the wounded a quick recovery, declared Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi in a phone call to his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi.

"Our prayers are with the victims of the terrible earthquake in #Indonesia & wishes for the recovery of the wounded. I called dear colleague @Menlu_RI to present Kingdom’s condolences. At the directives of His Majesty, we stand ready to offer any assistance needed," Safadi posted on twitter.

The country's disaster mitigation agency reported that the 6.2-magnitute earthquake in Sulawesi Island in Indonesia left 34 people, and injured hundreds.
