Turkey detains 8 suspects for alleged links to YPG/PKK terror group


(MENAFN)On Saturday, a security source reported that at least eight suspects were detained for being connected to the YPG/PKK terror group in an operation in Istanbul.

The source further reported that anti-terror police units managed immediate attacks at nine addresses in five Istanbul regions to nab suspected YPG/PKK members.

The source also said that police teams settled on nine suspected terrorists, who were active in PKK’s Syrian offshoot and the rural structure of the terror group, were illegally in Istanbul.

A hoard of organizational documents was arrested and an operation is in progress to nab the rest of the suspect.
