China: SPC advises enhancing judicial services for Hainan free commerce port improvement


(MENAFN) China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) has released a rule advising courts to develop judicial services to aid accelerate the expansion of the Hainan free commerce port.

The rule, issued online on Friday, January 16, makes institutional agreements for developing the free commerce port's judicial organizational system, optimizing the case jurisdiction system, and enhancing the system for foreign-related civil and commercial case trial and the alternative dispute resolution mechanism for commercial cases.

It demands accelerating the building of the intellectual property court of the Hainan free commerce port and the foreign-linked civil and commercial tribunal of Hainan.

The rule also advises reinforcing the construction of tourism trials, innovating the assessment mode and founding a centralized and state trial mechanism for foreign-linked tourism disputes.
