(MENAFN- UkrinForm) NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine provided natural gas transit services worth $2.11 billion to PJSC Gazprom in 2020, Naftogaz's press service has reported.
"In 2020, Gazprom paid in full for the annual capacity of the Ukrainian gas transmission system for gas transportation. According to the agreement between Naftogaz and Gazprom, the cost of booking 65 billion cubic meters of annual capacity is $2.1 billion," the report reads.
In addition, in the fourth quarter of 2020, Naftogaz additionally provided Gazprom with services for the use of the Ukrainian GTS, for which it receives more than $30 million.
"The total volume of Russian gas transportation in 2020 amounted to 55.8 billion cubic meters," Naftogaz added.
