Four top diplomats discuss ways to solve Israeli-Palestinian crisis


(MENAFN) According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, the foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, France, and Germany stressed on Monday that the two-state resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian crisis is the basis for attaining regional comprehensive peace.

The quartet meeting was held in Egypt to argue means to revive peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

The four top diplomats highlighted the significance of "the two-state solution that ensures the establishment of independent Palestinian living in safety beside Israel."

They urged both parties to deepen their collaboration and negotiation on the basis of more and joint pledges in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
