(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Municipality and Environment's Public Gardens Department organised a tree-planting event at Al Mamoura Park as part of one-million tree planting initiative, with the participation of the embassies of Lebanon and Belgium in Doha. A number of saplings suitable for the local environment were planted. Lebanese embassy charge d'affaires Farah Berri, Belgian ambassador Bart De Groof, Public Gardens Department assistant director Mohamed Ibrahim al-Sada and Nasser Darwish from the gardens section at Doha Municipality were present.
