RABAT, Jan 9 (KUNA) -- The Moroccan Ministry of Health said on Saturday that 24 more people died from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 1,416 others contracted the illness over the past 24 hours.
The figures pushed the overall tally to 7,709 deaths and 451,637 infections.
The recoveries surged by 1,469 to 423,541, the ministry said in its daily update. (end)
