Tarim Oilfield provides 270b cubic meters gas to east China


(MENAFN)The Tarim oilfield branch of PetroChina, China's main oil and gas creator stated that it has offered over 270 billion cubic meters of natural gas to 15 provincial-level regions in China via the country's West-to-East gas tube.

Situated in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous area, the Tarim Oilfield is the country's third-largest aground oil and gas manufacturer, and its natural gas production accounts for one-sixth of China's total domestic gas production.

The firm stated that natural gas from the oilfield has profited about 400 million inhabitants in more than 120 cities and over 3,000 enterprises since the gas tube began operation in 2004.
