Iraq COVID-19 cases up by further 741, five deaths


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Jan 3 (KUNA) -- Iraq's coronavirus deaths increased by five as the daily confirmed cases rose by 741, the health ministry said on Sunday.
This brings the caseload across the country's provinces, including the Kurdistan Region, to 597,774 as the death toll hit 12,834, a ministry statement read.
On the other hand, a total 543,720 people have been cured of the virus. (end)
