Indonesia orders additional 100M doses of Coronavirus vaccine


(MENAFN)An additional 100 million doses of Coronavirus vaccine has been ordered by Indonesia as it suffers to hold one of the worst outbreaks in Asia.

According to a virtual press conference, agreements had been signed to supply 50 million doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine along with 50 million doses from the US biotech firm Novavax, stated Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

More than 735,000 Indonesians out of 269 million have signed COVID-19, with the number of deaths increasing to 22,000.
