Qatar- Katara, Engineering Innovation Forum organise lecture on change management

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara, in cooperation with the Engineering Innovation Forum organised a lecture on ‘Change Management', by Eng. Ibrahim Al Sulaiti.

The lecture dealt with the link between management and engineering, and emphasised that change must be causal and that it should start from within the organisation and focus on the members of the organisation mainly.

Engineer Ibrahim Al Sulaiti said that for every change that is subject to resistance, and for every change there must be a leader, and the leader must have a number of skills that enable him to prepare a team capable of the required change in the best way. At the end of the lecture, Engineer Abdullah Al Baker, as the rapporteur of the Engineering Innovation Forum, honoured Engineer Ibrahim Al Sulaiti with a certificate of thanks and appreciation.

A number of events and activities were organised by Katara in cooperation with the Engineering Innovation Forum, including the Open Day for Architectural, Planning and Engineering Consultations, and the campaign to donate books used in the field of engineering under the slogan ‘Give the book a new life'.
