Terrorist attack claims 8 lives in Afghan capital


(MENAFN)Eight civilians were killed and 15 more wounded as an explosion shook Kabul Police District 5 on Sunday, the Afghan Ministry of the Interior said in a release.

As per the release, the blast took place on Sunday morning in Spin Kuli, a small suburb of Police District 5, resulting in "eight civilians were martyred and 15 others including a parliamentarian

Females and infants, the release said, were among the fatalities.

The statement said that "terrorists and the enemies of Afghanistan" were behind the terrorist attack that had victimized innocent civilians without blaming any specific group for the blast.
