UAE donates 200,000 masks, 100,000 rapid COVID-19 tests to Ukraine


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has provided Ukraine with 100,000 rapid tests to detect COVID-19 and 200,000 face masks, according to the press service of the head of state.

"As part of the agreements on medical assistance, Ukraine received from the UAE government 100,000 COVID-19 IgG/IgM rapid test kits and 200,000 face masks," the report reads.

In particular, during an online meeting with the wife of the UAE ambassador, Mrs. Al-Kaabi, Deputy Head of the President's Office Yulia Sokolovska thanked the UAE for its support in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic in our country.



Sokolovska noted that the received test kits and personal protective equipment will be transferred to the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health, which will distribute them among the regions.

As reported by Ukrinform, 13,141 new COVID-19 cases were laboratory-confirmed in Ukraine on December 2, bringing the total to 758,264.
