(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: As part of the 'Defence Strategy curriculum, Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College has hosted former UK defence secretary Sir Michael Fallon, who gave a lecture under the title 'Defence in a Changing World.
A discussion panel was held after the lecture dealt with the topics raised by the guest.
The event was attended by the participants in the National Defence Course No. 1 of senior employees of the ministries and various state institutions and security agencies.
HE Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration and Logistics Affairs Major General (Pilot) Mubarak bin Mohamed Al Kumait Al Khayarin, and H E Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training Staff Major General Hamad Ahmed Al Nuaimi, and a number of senior officers in the Armed Forces attended the lecture.
