Qatar- Amir leaves Ankara


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Ankara : The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, left Ankara this evening, after presiding with President of the Republic of Turkey HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the sixth meeting of the Qatar-Turkey Supreme Strategic Committee.

HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off at Ankara International Airport by Turkish Minister of Finance and Treasury HE Lotfi Alwan, Spokesperson for the Turkish Presidency HE Ibrahim Kalin, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Turkey HE Salem

Mubarak Shafi Al Shafi, the Turkish Ambassador to the State of Qatar HE Dr. Mehmet Mustafa Gksu, and members of the Qatari Embassy.

HH the Amir sent a message to HE President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm hospitality and honor His Highness and the accompanying delegation received during the official visit to participate in the meeting of the Qatar-Turkey Supreme Strategic Committee, during which the two sides affirmed their firm keenness and common determination to continue to support and strengthen the strong fraternal relations and strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields for the good and the interest of the two peoples. HH the Amir wished in the message HE the President good health and wellness and continued success and for the brother Turkish people further progress and prosperity.
