(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: Qatar is part of UK's safe travel corridor list and passengers travelling via Hamad International Airport will be exempt from the 14-day self-isolation on arrival in the UK.
'You do not need to self-isolate if you're travelling to England from one of the countries, territories or regions on the travel corridor list. You must have spent the last 14 days in one of these places, or in the UK, the UK government website mentioned.
'If you visited somewhere that is not on the list in the 14 days before your arrival in England, you will need to self-isolate. Visiting includes making a transit stop, it added.
As Qatar is in the travel corridor list, stopping in Qatar for transit will not call for self-isolation if travelling from another travel corridor country like Australia, Japan, Maldives, New Zealand, Singapore or Thailand. Qatar was added to the list on November 14.
