Ukrainian ambassador presents credentials to King of Sweden


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian Ambassador Andrii Plakhotniuk on November 23 presented his credentials to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden through the Swedish Foreign Ministry's Protocol Service, according to a special procedure established during the COVID-19 pandemic, the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden has said.

According to the report, the Ukrainian ambassador is expected to have an audience with His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden after the end of restrictive measures related to counteracting the spread of COVID-19.



On September 21, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Plakhotniuk Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Sweden.
