China: Industrial production extends expansion


(MENAFN) China's industrial production saw additional expansion in October as factory production carried on growing amid efficient coronavirus control and government policies to improve demand and expenditure.

Statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) revealed that China's value-added industrial production, a vital economic sign, increased 6.9 percent year on year in October, the same as that of September.

On a month-on-month basis, industrial production increased 0.78 percent in October.

In the first 10 months, industrial production grew 1.8 percent from one year previously, compared with an upsurge of 1.2 percent in the first three quarters, NBS statistics revealed.
