(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- The number of coronavirus infections in Austria reached 249,157 after 3,145 new cases were logged over the past 24 hours, the health ministry said on Monday.
The nation's death toll from the outbreak currently stands at 2,459, while more than 175,000 people have recovered from the virus, according to government statistics.
Austria recently imposed a 20-day full lockdown in order to curb the sharp rise of covid-19 infections.(end)
