Jordan- Turkey reports 5,500 new daily COVID-19 infections, 135 fatalities


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 21 (Petra) -- Some 5,532 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Turkey Saturday, pushing the caseload to at least 440,800, according to the Anadolu Agency.
COVID-19 killed 135 people within the last 24 hours, as the death toll in the country tops 12,219, the state-run news agency cited the Turkey Health Ministry as saying.
More than 370,825 people have recovered from the highly contagious coronavirus so far, it added.
