Saudi Press: World Witnesses Today a New Phase Through G20 Summit


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, November 21, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Bilad, Al-Riyadh, Al-Yaum and Al-Eqtisadiah newspapers reported in their editorials that the world is witnessing today a new phase to take the opportunities of 21st century through the G20 summit to be chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The papers said that the summit comes after intensive efforts, various initiatives, outcomes of unremitting meetings, common solutions and decisions to confront the challenges, topped by Coronavirus pandemic.
The papers added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has successfully accomplished the agenda of its presidency of G20 in the 15th session, under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and follow-up and direct supervision, provided by HRH Crown Prince to achieve main axes such as: empower people, safeguard the planet, and shape new frontiers, and working to create appropriate conditions that enable people, especially women and youth to work and achieve prosperity.
The papers further added that Saudi Arabia has spared no efforts for protecting lives and the global economy from the effects and repercussions of COVID-19 pandemic, providing aid to developing countries and supporting regional and international efforts.
