(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 17 (Petra) -- Chairman of the Jordan Bromine Company (JBC) Jamal Saraireh said Tuesday that the company's board recommended to its annual general assembly, slated for November 25th, to pay out $50 million in dividends amounting to 19.9 per cent of its capital.
The JBC is the only Jordanian manufacturer and producer of bromine and its derivatives, including tetrabromide, sodium bromide, calcium bromide, hydrogen bromide and potassium hydroxide, which is exported to about 30 countries around the world.
Established in 1999, the company is a joint venture between the Arab Potash Company and US-based Albemarle Holdings LTD.
