(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Nov 15 (KUNA) -- The number of coronavirus infections in Austria reached 203,612 after 5,665 new cases were logged over the past 24 hours, the health ministry said on Sunday.
The Alpine nation's death toll from the outbreak currently stands at 1,746, while more than 119,000 people have recovered from the virus, according to government statistics.
The government has put in place a partial curfew as part of tough measures aimed at slowing the spread of the virus, saying that a blanket lockdown would be a last resort in the event coronavirus rates grow exponentially. (end)
