(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Nov 12 (KUNA) -- OPEC daily basket price stood at USD 43.42 a barrel Wednesday, compared with USD 41.72 the previous day, OPEC bulletin said Thursday.
OPEC bulletin said the average annual price for the basket last year was USD 52.43.
Analysts believe the positive changes occurred after US and European pharmaceutical companies announced vaccines that could help end the coronavirus pandemic.
The OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
