China's top economic planner stated that, the country's natural gas consumption climbed progressively year on year during the period from January to September amidst hard works to confront air pollution.
The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said that, noticeable consumption of natural gas rose 3.6 percent annually reaching 230.95 billion cubic meters during the first three quarters.
In domains comprising industrial fuel, power generation and transport, the country has been encouraging the competent, large-scale employment of natural gas.
According to NDRC representative Meng Wei, the natural gas market will witness rising demand as regions in northern China start to get into the winter heating season. The NDRC will put efforts to guarantee steady natural gas production and encourage the construction of gas networks and storage facilities.
