(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TUNIS, Oct 26 (KUNA) -- The Tunisian Ministry of Health announced Monday that 3,024 COVID-19 infections were registered in 24 hours, along with 58 deaths during Oct 23-24.
Also, total infections increased to 52,399 cases, while the death toll hit 983, showing a 8.29 percent death rate per 100,000 inhabitants since the start of the pandemic, the ministry said in a statement.
Most of the deaths were recorded after reopening the Tunisian border on June 27, they explained. (end)
