An expansion in both earnings and operating income during the period from January to September of the current year was witnessed by China Telecom, one of the country's three biggest telecommunication operators.
According to the company, China Telecom's net profits reached an overall amount of about USD2.81 billion, in a rise by 1.7 percent annually.
Operating income climbed 3.5 percent from last year to around USD43 billion, of which service income reached an overall amount of about USD42 billion.
China Telecom mobile subscribers reached an overall number of 349 million, with the subscribers of 5G package climbing to 64.8 million within the span of the past month.
