(MENAFN) According to a statement issued on Sunday by the Mongolian National Center for Communicable Disease (NCCD), the overall tally of patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus across the state has jumped by one reaching 338during the last 24-hour period.
At a regular news briefing, the NCCD's head Dulmaa Nyamkhuu revealed "A total of 673 tests for COVID-19 were conducted across Mongolia yesterday and one of them was positive. The latest case is a transport driver who has entered Mongolia via Altanbulag border point."
The center"s statement further included that a number of 312 patients have so far won the battle against the brutal coronavirus infection and been accordingly discharged from hospitals, whereas the number of patients who are still receiving health care in hospitals amounted to 26 in the previous 24 hours, adding that all the confirmed cases in the country were imported, mostly from neighboring Russia.
