(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 20 (Petra) -- Some 223 Covid-19 cases were recorded in Algeria on Tuesday, pushing the caseload to more than 54829, according to the Algeria Press Service.
Eight people succumbed to the lung disease within the last 24 hours as the death toll in the North Africa country surpasses 1873, while total recoveries amounted to 38346, the news agency cited the Coronavirus Monitoring and Follow-up Committee as saying.
