(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The State of Qatar has participated in the 17th meeting of heads of GCC Audit and Accounting Bureaus, which was held Tuesday via videoconferencing.
The State of Qatar was represented by HE Deputy President of the State Audit Bureau Abdulaziz Mohamed Al Emadi.
The meeting discussed the topics on its agenda, including the memorandum of the General Secretariat on joint oversight, and the proposal to raise awareness and knowledge to exercise oversight over the goals of sustainable development, in addition to discussing topics of the 5th GCC competition for research and studies in the field of oversight and accounting. The participants took the appropriate decisions on these topics, and followed up on previous decisions that were taken by Their Excellencies, heads of bureaus.
