Qatar- DI launches 'My Academic Discipline' initiative


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) As part of the preparations to open student admission for the upcoming academic year, the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) has announced its new interactive initiative 'My Academic Discipline.
The initiative will be held weekly in the form of meetings via Doha Institute social media platforms to introduce the eighteen master programmes that are distributed over two schools: the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Public Administration and Development Economics.
Director of Communication and External Relations Department, Ali Menadi Al Kaabi, said, 'The aim of this initiative is to provide an opportunity to distinguished students to learn more about the programmes, communicate directly with faculty members and ask questions. He highlighted the role of the initiative in bridging the distance between students wishing to complete their postgraduate studies on the one hand and the program they want to join on the other.
'The Communication and External Relations Department will provide the necessary logistics and technical support to ensure the required follow-up by interested students, whereas the initiative will make it easy for them to know about the disciplines available at DI, associated study plans, enrolment requirements, and professional orientations, Al Kaabi added. 
Doha Institute for Graduate Studies announced the opening of online admission for the next academic year, starting from Tuesday, October 20, 2020, until February 15, 2021.
