(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Oct 18 (KUNA) -- The Syrian Ministry of Health said Sunday that 44 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the country's caseload to 5,077.
Three more fatalities over the past 24 hours raised the death toll from the illness to 248 while recoveries went up by 34 to 1,528, the ministry said in a press release carried by SANA news agency. (end)
