(MENAFN) An Israeli-American mission departed from Tel Aviv on Sunday, October 18, en route to Manama, where they will ink an agreement to progress complete diplomatic ties between Israel and Bahrain.
The El Al flight 973, dubbed after the worldwide dialing code for Bahrain, left from the Ben Gurion Airport outside Tel Aviv and will go by Saudi Arabia's skies
According to a report published by the Israeli foreign office, the dual mission comprises Israel's National Security Council leader Meir Ben-Shabbat and U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin.
The direct commercial trip will arrive in Manama, where administrators from the three states are projected to speak at a ceremony and ink many accords, counting a combined report on establishing complete formal relations between Israel and Bahrain.
