(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Ministry of Health said Saturday that 138 people tested positive for the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), while 10 others died due to the viral illness over the past 24 hours.
The latest figures took the overall infections up to 105,297 and the death toll to 6,109, the ministry's spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahed said in a press statement.
The number of treated virus patients went up by 68 to 98,157, he added. (end)
