Tunisia reports 114 COVID-19 deaths, 5,752 infections in 4 days


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TUNIS, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- The Tunisian Health Ministry on Saturday announced 114 fatalities from the coronavirus (COVID-19) and 5,752 more infections in the last four days.
The death toll climbed to 626 and overall cases rose to 40,542, the ministry added in a statement.
Last week, Tunisiaآ's authorities took some preventive measures to face the second wave of the coronavirus that include a partial curfew in most states nationwide, banning gatherings and cultural events, and closing cinemas and theaters. (end)
