(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the deadly "terrorist stabbing" assault on a French national in Paris on Friday.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed solidarity with France after the attack and denounced the "heinous" crime.
It also extended condolences to the victim's family and to the French government and people.
The ministry also reiterated the Kingdom's firm stance against violence, extremism and terrorism in all forms and regardless of motives.
It, however, called for showing respect to all religious symbols and refraining from instigating hatred through vilification of religions. (end)
